This human experience is at times daunting. Even welcomed life transitions can leave us feeling untethered. You may not feel you can manage alone. You may be struggling to feel comfortable in your own skin, find deeper connection in your relationships, or knowing your place in this world.

I believe in the innate wisdom each individual possesses. I will accompany you into this lifelong process of returning to your sense of self. We come to know ourselves more fully through our relationships even as the discoveries may be startling or disorienting. Through these explorations you will find a deepened connection with what you ardently seek. We will begin where you are. Ultimately our work together will provide a space for you to settle in, let go, find resolve, and flourish.

Together we will cultivate self-compassion, skillfully engage in relationships and retool your strengths, allowing you to navigate your life with greater acuity. To this end, I have steeped myself in eastern philosophy, attachment and relationship theory, based upon my foundation in humanistic psychology. I am passionate to offer you mindfulness-based approaches that will empower you, both immediately and in years to come, on your journey. I continuously engage in workshops surrounding integrative wellness, life transitions, stress reduction and healthy relationships to enrich your therapeutic experience. It is an honor to guide you on your path and I look forward to working with you.

Education & Training

I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, DC after 5 years of immersive training in classical psychological theory, neuropsychology, and somatically sub-focused trainings. Clinical areas of focus include trauma, anxiety and depression treatment, as well as exploration of attention challenges, transition, identity, grief and sexuality. I am experienced in individuals and couples work, group therapy and neuropsychological assessment.

My trainings in university, hospital, and community mental health settings have supported my expansive experience in Eastern philosophical and somatically-oriented mindfulness trainings. I integrate lessons from strengths based, trauma-informed, culturally-inclusive and psychodynamic approaches. I believe in the power of attuning to the wisdom of your body, listening to the expressions of your senses and learning to care for yourself from a fundamentally somatic foundation. I view our experiences through the lens of our very human and existential experience. I am currently working as a psychological assistant (PSB94025334) under the supervision of Dr. Brac Selph (PSY22115).
