Relationships are primary to our experience and deeply impact our sense of self, our beliefs about the world, and our capacity to manage our feelings. Throughout life we develop patterns of relating that affect our ability to find love, be successful in work, and live creatively. Therapy provides an opportunity to become conscious of these patterns and make more active choices about one’s life. In the context of a caring and attuned relationship, I help my clients increase their ability to tolerate difficult emotions, decrease destructive behaviors, reduce stress, and improve their relationships.
In my work, I draw on attachment theory, contemporary neuroscientific research, and other evidenced based treatments such as CBT, tailoring each treatment to the specific needs of the individual. My therapeutic style is informed by my personal experience as a mother, a professional, and a dancer. Clients have described me as supportive and collaborative. I welcome people from all backgrounds to my practice and always seek to explore how culture shapes our experience as part of the therapeutic endeavor.

Fees and Services
I provide individual psychotherapy to teens and adults. My fee is $200 per session. Sessions are 45-50 minutes in length. I accept cash, check, and credit card and payment is due at the time of service. I do not currently accept health insurance, but can provide an itemized receipt for services monthly. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours noticed are billed at the full rate.
